MEMORANDUM AND ORDER*

NEESE, Senior District Judge.

The petitioner Mr. Larry R. Walker seeks the federal writ of habeas corpus, 28 U.S.C. § 2254, attacking his convictions of March 18, 1975 in the Criminal Court of Davidson County, Tennessee.1 He contends he was deprived at trial and on appeal of the effective assistance of counsel as guaranteed him by the Constitution, Sixth Amendment,2 made applicable to the States through the Fourteenth Amendment, Due Process Clause.
