The appellant, R. A. Bridges, was indicted for the offense of murder in the first degree. A copy of the indictment appears in the report of the ease. The appellant was convicted of murder in the first degree, and his punishment fixed by the jury at imprisonment in the penitentiary of this state for the term of his natural life. Erom this conviction and sentence, the present appeal is prosecuted.
