ADAMS, District Judge.

This action was brought by Pietro Antonio Noris to .recover from the steamship Prinzess Irene, the damages he sustained through a severe injury to one of his legs, received on the 30th of March, 1903, while being transported from Bremen, Germany, to New York. The libellant bought a through ticket from Chiasso, Italy, to Boston, Massachusetts, by way of Bremen and New York.
