This is an appeal from an order of the district court denying defendant Boston and Taunton Transportation Company’s (“B & T”) motion to vacate a default judgment under Fed.R.Civ.P. 60(b).
I. BACKGROUND
The relevant facts are not disputed. 0'n August 7,1979, Henry Taylor, the plaintiff-appellee, brought suit against B & T in federal district court for wrongful discharge from employment.
