This was a bill in equity, by Logan H. Roots, against William Gr. Wilson, filed in the circuit court of Cook county on the 9th day of May, A. D. 1884, for the rescission of a certain contract for the assignment and transfer by Wilson, to Roots, upon certain conditions, of $44,500 of the capital stock of the Wilson Sewing Machine Company of Wallingford, Connecticut, in exchange for $40,000 of the bonds of that company.
