The plaintiffs, E. J. Miller and E. E- Miller, reside in the Town of Jefferson, in Chesterfield County, where they operate a drug store. For several years prior to 1935 they had used, in their place of business, a telephone of the defendant, Central Carolina Telephone Company. Quite often customers of the store made use of plaintiffs’ telephone for long distance calls, and sometimes neglected to pay the drug store' for them.
