This is an appeal from an amended decree dated May 8, 1964, awarding guardianship and custody of a minor child to the mother incident to the granting of a divorce a vinculo matrimonii to the father on the ground of the wife’s adultery.
The pathetic facts of this case unfold a story which may be summarized as follows. The parties were married in 1954, a son, Douglas Gordon Palmer, was born of the marriage and was seven years of age at the time of the taking of testimony in open court.
