ADELMAN, District Judge.
Plaintiff Stanley Patterson applied for social security disability benefits, alleging that he was unable to work due to wrist, shoulder, neck and knee problems, a seizure disorder, chest pain and depression. The Social Security Administration (“SSA”) denied his claim, as did an Administrative Law Judge (“ALJ”) following a hearing. The Appeals Council then denied plaintiffs request for review, making the ALJ’s decision the final decision of the Commissioner of the SSA. Briscoe v. Barnhart, 425 F.3d 345, 350 (7th Cir.2005).
