This is a matter arising from a dispute between plaintiff Smith and defendant Sullivan regarding ownership, control, and profit sharing of S & S Insurance Agency. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff and defendant both worked for Allstate Insurance Company as employees until the year 2000, when Allstate terminated all its insurance agents and re-engaged most as independent contractors.
