RICE, District Judge.

The captioned cause is an application for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner, who is currently incarcerated in a federal correctional facility for undisclosed reasons, claims that his constitutional rights were violated when Respondent, the Clark County Sheriff, after surrendering Petitioner to federal authorities, then filed a detainer with them to reclaim Petitioner upon his release from federal custody.
