G. M. and J. C. Lollis filed a complaint in the Johnson Chancery Court against J. H. Lollis, as defendant. They alleged that they had conveyed certain lands by deed to the defendant for the purpose of enabling him to secure a loan on said lands for their benefit, with the understanding that, if the loan was not secured, he was to reconvey the lands to them; that said loan, had not been secured, and that defendant had failed and refused to reconvey the lands as agreed upon.
