Defendant Francis Boccagna pleaded guilty in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Joanna Seybert, Judge) to one count of making a false statement to a federally insured lending institution in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1014. Sentenced to a term of three years’ probation, Boccagna appeals only from the part of his judgment of conviction that, pursuant to the Mandatory Victims Restitution Act of 1996 (“MVRA”), Pub.L.
