SCHWARTZMAN, Judge.

A jury found Keith Lovelass guilty of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, in violation of I.C. § 37-2732(c)(1). On appeal, Lovelass argues that his conviction should be reversed for the following reasons: (1) the trial judge abused his discretion by questioning Lovelass in the jury’s presence; (2) the prosecutor engaged in misconduct; and (3) trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance.
