The petitioner, Roger A. Perron, owns a 35-acre tract of land situated on Round Top Road, a twolaned paved state highway in the town of Burrillville. The property is zoned Farming F and the surrounding neighborhood is predominately farming and rural residential in character. The Burrillville zoning ordinance provides in ll-4.3c.2 (Rev. Ord. 1972) that, in an appropriate case and subject to the imposition of appropriate conditions and safeguards, the zoning board may grant a special exception permitting the establishment of a family camping area in a Farming F District upon a showing that it…
