On November 20, 1930, the plaintiff as administratrix of the estate of William Paulsen, her late husband, secured a verdict against the defendant for $9,000, in an action wherein the declaration charges that the decedent was killed as a result of the negligence of the driver of the defendant’s automobile in which the decedent was riding as a passenger.
