Darryl Watkins, convicted in 1982 for the capital offense of murder committed during the course of a robbery and sentenced to death, appealed the circuit court's denial of his petition for post-conviction relief pursuant to Ala.R.Cr.P. Temp. 20 (Ala.R.Cr.P. 32).
