Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Edwards, J.), rendered October 10, 1978, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of manslaughter in the first degree (Penal Law, § 125.20), and sentencing him to an indeterminate term of from 7 to 21 years, unanimously reversed, on the law and as a matter of discretion and in the interest of justice, and the matter remanded for a new trial. On November 18,1977 the deceased, one Camel, and two others, met a fourth person in Harlem while on their way to purchase drugs.
