Appellee Debra M. Duerst, as attorney-in-fact for her mother, filed a complaint in the trial court alleging violations of her mother’s nursing home resident’s rights under sections 400.022 and 400.023, Florida Statutes (2012), and other related claims against appellants Florida Holdings III, LLC, 2600 Highlands Boulevard North, LLC, and Michael T. Ross (the Bay Tree parties).
