—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Firetog, J.), rendered August 28, 1989, convicting him of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. By order of this Court dated July 27, 1992, the matter was remitted to the Supreme Court, Kings County, for a hearing to resettle the transcript, and the appeal was held in abeyance in *701the interim (People v Sanchez, 185 AD2d 367).
