12Tayaneka S. Brooks appeals a judgment of eviction, ordering her to vacate the property she is occupying, which is owned by David and Misty Solet. For the following reasons, we reverse the judgment.

FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Ms. Brooks and her three children lived several years in Kansas City, Missouri, before she decided to return to Louisiana.
