This action, a consolidation of two actions instituted, respectively, on or about October 10, 1953 and on or about July 13, 1954, was brought by the plaintiffs, Della M. Grattan, Violet Grattan, Gloria Grattan and Irene Grattan, doing business as D. M. Grattan Co.
