This is a suit in equity brought by the plaintiffs, Frank Pitts, et al., Negro citizens and taxpayers residing within the territorial limits of the De Witt Special School District No. 1 of Arkansas County, Arkansas, against the members of the Board of Directors (termed in the .bill “Board of Trustees”) of said school district, the President and Secretary of said Board, and the Superintendent of Schools of said district, for the purpose of requiring the defendants to furnish elementary and high school facilities for Negro students in the district substantially equal to…
