This is an appeal by Gloria M. Collins (Claimant) from an order of the Workmens Compensation Appeal Board (Board) affirming a referees decision denying Claimant benefits on the basis that she was not acting in the course and scope of her employment at the time of her injury pursuant to Section 301(c) of The Pennsylvania Workmens Compensation Act, Act of June 2, 1915, P.L. 736, as amended, 77 PS. §411(1).

Claimant sustained an injury to her legs, back, neck and shoulders as a result of felling in a hole in the sidewalk two blocks from the office building where she worked.…
