CHRISTIAN, Judge.

The offense is wife desertion; the punishment, a fine of twenty-five dollars and thirty days confinement in jail.

Appellant’s wife is a student in Southwestern University. She lives with her parents in Brownwood, where her father is engaged in the furniture business. Appellant and prosecutrix married on the 20th day of July, 1929, at which time they were under twenty years of age. Appellant had been taking a course in Textile Engineering at Rice Institute and in the Texas State School at Lubbock.
