TUTTLE, Senior Circuit Judge:

This is an appeal from the granting of a motion for summary judgment for defendant prison officials in a prisoner’s Section 1983 action.

I. STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Plaintiff John W. McQueen was an inmate at the Union Correctional Institution in Florida who has subsequently completed his sentence. He claims that his Fourteenth Amendment right to due process of law was violated in connection with his confinement for a period of 11 months in “close'management” solitary confinement while in the prison.
