The defendant, Roy Diefenderfer, appeals from a Superior Court order denying his motion to reduce his sentence. As grounds for his appeal, the defendant argues that the hearing justice — a different justice from the one who originally sentenced the defendant — did not apply the correct standard in denying the defendant’s sentence-reduction motion.
