In a matrimonial action in which the parties were divorced by judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, entered March 22, 1993, the plaintiff former wife appeals, as limited by her brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (O’Brien, J.), dated April 25, 1996, as denied, without a hearing, that branch of her motion which was for a downward modification of her child support obligation.

Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, with costs, that branch of the plaintiff former wife’s motion which was for a downward modification of her child support…
