The above-captioned chapter 11 case was commenced on September 10, 1990. On October 24, 1990, without obtaining relief from the automatic stay, the Internal Revenue Service (the “IRS”) issued two summonses (the “Summonses”) pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 7602 directed to Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (“Bank”), requesting the production of certain bank records. 1 One Summons (the “Spencer Summons”) requested the production of records relating to the debtor’s checking account with the Bank’s Redwood City branch for July 1, 1990 through October 31,…
