CRANDALL, Judge.

Husband, Edward F. Tate, appeals from the decree of dissolution of his marriage to wife, Janice Tate. Wife cross-appeals. We affirm.

Review of this ease is governed by the principles of Murphy v. Carron, 536 S.W.2d 30, 32 (Mo.banc 1976). On appeal, we do not retry the case, rather we accept as true the evidence and reasonable inferences therefrom in the light most favorable to the prevailing party and disregard contradictory evidence. Riaz v. Riaz, 789 S.W.2d 224, 225 (Mo.App.1990).
