BALDWIN, Judge.

This appeal is from the decision of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board1 dismissing an opposition proceeding. Appellee Soo Valley Company filed an application 2 to register the mark WONDER-THREAD for “industrial thread.” Appellant David Crystal, Inc. opposed registration on the basis of its own prior use and registration of the mark WONDER-CORD by DAVID CRYSTAL, for dresses, suits, skirts, blouses for ladies and men’s outer shirts. The mark appears in appellant’s registration3 as follows:
