OPINION

Defendant Dione Alexander was convicted of aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of weapons and sentenced to 24 years’ imprisonment by the circuit court of Peoria County. The appellate court found defendant’s sentence to be excessive and reduced it to the statutory mandatory minimum of six years. No. 3 — 08 — 0373 (unpublished order under Supreme Court Rule 23).
