Plaintiffs filed a declaratory judgment action for a determination of liability coverage under an automobile policy issued by defendant, State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (hereinafter State Farm), to defendant, Carol Hinich. After a bench trial the trial court entered a declaratory judgment against State Farm finding that its policy was in effect on the accident date. In this appeal State Farm contends that the policy covering the Hinich automobile was effectively cancelled on September 2, 1979, which was seven days prior to the collision for which plaintiffs sought liability…
