Each of these seven cases is a direct appeal to this Court from a judgment of a United States Bankruptcy Court, pursuant to the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978, Pub.L.No. 95-598, § 405(c)(1)(B), 92 Stat. 2685 (West Supp.1979), concerning the lien avoidance provisions of the Reform Act. The Reform Act of 1978 was enacted by Congress on October 6, 1978, and signed into law by the President on November 6, 1978. The effective date of the Reform Act is October 1, 1979.
