hThis matter arose out of an incident that took place in the early morning hours of December 21, 2002. It is undisputed that seven individuals, namely Rory Delcambre, Bonnie Delcambre, Tricia Menard, Quinn Delcambre, Rayford Champagne, Glenn P. Gadrow and Lori Toups, arrived in three vehicles at the residence of Everett and Charlene Curóle shortly after 3:00 a.m. It was further established that the Curole’s residence was broken into, and a brutal physical attack was committed upon Mr. Curóle in the Curóles’ bedroom.
