The plaintiffs are four African-American women who worked *996at a Brooklyn branch of HSBC Bank USA. They commenced this action in 2003 alleging discrimination in employment on the basis of race in violation of the New York State Human Rights Law (Executive Law § 296) and the New York City Human Rights Law (Administrative Code of City of NY § 8-107).
