MEMORANDUM OF DECISION ON DEFENDANT TROULA PILAVIS’ REQUEST FOR A JURY TRIAL

I. Introduction
Richard Campana (“Campana”) originally brought this action in state court against the debtor, Christopher Pilavis (the “Debtor”), and his wife, Troula Pilavis (“Mrs. Pilavis”), to avoid alleged fraudulent transfers of real property. Mrs. Pilavis filed a demand for a jury trial both in the state court and here, and Campana filed a motion to strike her demand. 1 I hold that, as a party to a fraudulent conveyance action which seeks the avoidance of real property…
