Kenneth Jones, an employee of Harry Hatfield and Company, a contracting company, engaged in the construction of a road over the lands of the Red *480Parrot Coal Company, hereinafter designated as defendant, was electrocuted when the boom of a crane around which he was working came into contact with an overhead, uninsulated, 2300 volt power line belonging to the Appalachian Electric Power Company, hereinafter called Power Company.
