This is an action in habeas corpus by Hazel Flickinger Joyce against Rose C. Beatty, Superintendent of the Girls’ Industrial School of this county, to regain the custody of her daughter Bernice Flickinger, whom she claims is illegally deprived of her liberty by the respondent.. The evidence in this case shows that Bernice Flickinger a minor, became seventeen years of age in March, 1940.
