The original bill in this case was filed by the appellants against the 'appellees in September, 1902, to enforce the payment of $5,000, the residue of the purchase price of $35,000, for the sale of their lease-hold interest in a tract of coal land located in Mingo county, West Virginia, together with the improvements, fixtures and certain personal property, consisting of a stock of goods, live stock and unexpired insurance policies, and also “the natural gas well” on the premises, under a contract of December 10, 1901.
