This is an appeal by the State in a highway condemnation proceeding following a trial by jury resulting in a verdict and judgment for appellee-landowners in the sum of $25,000.00. A brief chronology of procedural events accurring prior to the trial on damages is necessary to understand the alleged errors upon which the State bases this appeal.
