On November 29, 1882, the master commissioner of the Fayette circuit court, acting under and pursuant to an order of that court, conveyed by deed to Mrs. Joanna E. Montague for life, with remainder to such of her children as might be living at her death, a lot of ground in the city of Lexington fronting on Main street 60 feet and extending back the same width to Short street.
