Suit to recover the value of a quantity of corn.

The first paragraph of the complaint reads thus:

“ Barncurd Pribble complains of William Kent and Elisha Hitchens, and says that the said defendants, on the 16th day of February, A. D. 1856, by their certain receipt in *326writing,^ Copy of which is filed herewith, acknowledged, under the name of Kent Sf Hitchens, that they had received from the plaintiff, in store until the first day of May, at 2 cents storage, 132 bushels and 43 pounds of corn, not transferable without notice, and not accountable for loss by fire.
