TORRUELLA, Chief Judge.

Ricardo Torres-Galindo and Ricardo L. Guilbe-Sánchez appeal their convictions for the carjacking of Jeanette Carmona-Hernández, which resulted in her death, and for the use of a firearm in a crime of violence. We affirm their convictions.

I. FACTUAL BACKGROUND

On the evening of January 30, 1997, Alexander Figueroa-Delgado and Miguel González-Adams were together at the Ló-pez-Nussa housing project. Appellants Torres and Guilbe arrived and suggested that the group go out and “take a car.” Figueroa agreed to join appellants, but González was instructed to go home and wait…
