On June 30, 2009, petitioner Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District filed a petition in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Second Department, against respondent Ruth M. Pollack alleging two counts of professional misconduct under New York law. Respondent was served with the petition on July 7, 2009. On August 31, 2009, respondent removed the action to this Court.
