Pat Buscemi (Claimant) appeals from a denial of benefits by the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review (Board), on the basis of Section 402(e) of the Unemployment Compensation Law1 (willful misconduct).
Claimant was employed as a production worker for the Combination Pump Yalve Company from March 3, 1981 to March 19, 1982. Prom March 11th to 19th, 1982, Claimant was absent from work due to illness.2 On the 19th he received a telegram from his employer *62notifying him that he had been discharged for failure to report to work without proper notification.
