Plaintiffs, suing under 17 U.S.C. § 1 et seq., move for a preliminary injunction restraining the defendants from producing, publicizing or distributing a film containing material which allegedly infringes their copyrights. The copyrights apply to two books by and about the late night club entertainer and social critic Lenny Bruce (“Bruce”).
