A Muhlenberg County Grand Jury indicted Shannon Geary for first-degree robbery, being a felon in possession of a handgun, and being a persistent felony offender. A Muhlenberg Circuit Court jury convicted Geary of first-degree robbery, and, after finding him to be a persistent felony offender, recommended a sentence of thirty years’ imprisonment. The trial court sentenced him accordingly. Geary now appeals to this Court as a matter of right pursuant to § 110(2)(b) of the Constitution of this Commonwealth.
