CHEHARDY, Chief Judge.

Ricky Perez, an insanity acquittee confined in a state facility for the criminally insane, comes before us on a writ of review of the trial court’s ruling denying him discharge or release on probation.

HISTORY

On January 29, 1979, Ricky Perez was found not guilty by reason of insanity of the crime of second-degree murder of his father, Wesley Perez. Pursuant to a finding that the defendant was dangerous to himself and others, as required by LSA-C.
