This is a suit for damages filed on behalf of a minor who was sexually molested by his scoutmaster. Veronica Akins, the minor’s mother, sued the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and the Golden Spread Council of the Boy Scouts of America (GSC). The trial court granted BSA and GSC’s motion for summary judgment. The court of appeals reversed and remanded with respect to both defendants. 888 S.W.2d 35. We affirm the court of appeals’ judgment as to GSC, although we do not agree with its reasoning. We reverse…
