OPINION
McCORMICK, Judge.
Appellant was indicted for capital murder. A jury found appellant guilty and during the punishment phase of the trial answered the second special issue in the negative. 1 Punishment was assessed at life.
In his first ground of error, appellant argues that the trial court erred in denying his request to instruct the jury to disregard the testimony from Sharon Renae Bolt in that she was his common law wife.
